I have the same issue, but did find another workaround to it. I'm unable to download and install JustCloud, so I had to temporary disable AVG protection before downloading. Once JustCloud is installed, follow Alan steps, but instead of adding the JustCloud folder to the exception list, add these three EXE files:
JustCloud.exe
BackupStack.exe
Updater.exe
Enable AVG protection and try starting up JustCloud and backing up files. So far, so good for me. Hope this helps!
As Lina says Alan, your solution does not work. It working on the basis that JustCloud has already been installed to your machine.
In my case I am trying to install for the first time but AVG keeps blocking the setup extension even when added to the exception list.
Please AVG sort ASAP
So I enabled my AVG protection and it immediately removed the Just Cloud desktop program without evening asking me first. I followed Alan' advice from his article (knowing that it wouldn't fix the problem). There has to be an executable file located somewhere else that needs to be added as an exception so that this doesn't keep happening. Unfortunately, I don't know where to look to find it. This issues needs a higher level of technical support.
I Change my sim card in my phone & on the phone to use but it ask unlock
password I don't remember my password help me to on my phone it's urgent.
DOES NOT WORK!!! This is ridiculous. AVGT needs to give an answer that works. I have done all the steps outline in Alan's new article, and guess what? It doesn't work. AVG doesn't even allow the program to download.

In connection with JustCloud AVG have now produced this article (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Detection-of-MyPCBackup-and-JustCloud-as-a-Potentially-Unwanted-Program).

I tried restoring it from the Virus Vault, but as soon as I tried to run it AVG deleted the file again.
We have tried all these options, but AVG still deletes justcloud.exe once it is re-enabled.
We're on Win8.1 with AVG version 2015.0.5751.
Please can you help, as we've got no recent back up the moment
Good morning,
I have a professional version of AVG Internet Security. I also use cloud storage with Justcloud. Since very recently I am receiving virus threat messages via AVG for my Justcloud service.
I have spoken to Justcloud and they claim that AVG is deliberately blocking their software…
I am relying on my pc for work and I need to do online back ups frequently. I do not wish to compromise my security. The "professional" reply I received from Justcloud was: " Up to you really who you want to believe, us or them…"
Can someone give me some advice please: Is it safe for me to continue using Justcloud? What are the issues there, if any? Or do you suggest moving to a different cloud storage?
I look forward to hearing from you.

This issue needs to be reported to AVG as a "false positive" by as many people as possible. You can do that by using this link False Positive File Form. I have tried several work-arounds to this issue and they work…temporarily. I think that AVG keeps throwing up roadblocks to other cloud backup services. What better way to sell their own cloud backup service than to make everything else incompatible with their protection products. I never had an issue with using AVG Internet Security (their premium product, BTW) and Just Cloud until the 2015 upgrade.
