I have noticed on AVG forums that the AVG icon no longer appears in the system tray. The AVG console starts up fine and says you are protected.
I can confirm I am seeing the same issue with the system tray. Although I have an SSD drive and Windows 7 with Glary utilities reporting an average start up time (there is noway my PC would be usable under Windows 10 and I have refused the free upgrade), what concerns me is that despite re-installation - AVG does not appear - but the same is absolutely same is true of Serviio a DLNA media server. The console starts fine and will re-catalogue my library and says the server is running - but is not, I can see this on other devices. There has been a recent Windows 7 update that has caused issues. Whilst I realise Servio is absolutely nothing to do with AVG you are hitting the same issues. I will write to the Serviio Team tomorrow pretty much in the same context. There may and I stress may be some start up time issues - I am highly technically competent and will assist with any files you require.
