It is generally not recommended to use more than one security solution on a single system. They will compete for resources, which may result in slowdowns, crashes or in no protection at all.
Where do you exactly see the message about AVG isn't running? Please share a screenshot of it.
I am running AVG Internet Security with an up to date subscription on Windows 10 Home.
Task Manager says both Windows Defender & AVG are running.
When I deactivate Windows Defender it it says I now have no protection as AVG isn't running.
Everything looks to be running ok on AVG but I obviously have a problem causing conflict between the two…any ideas ? Thanks in advance.
