AVG Android wont turn ads off after pro upgrade

Open AVG Anti-virus app/AVG Cleaner app.
Tap on the drawer.

So I purchased the three year unlimited plan and it says I can add AVG pro to my android phone. I followed the link it downloaded the free version and then I logged into my account on my phone. However it still is giving me ads, and doesn't have any of the pro features unlocked. I shut down the app and loaded it again, I turned the device on and off. Am I missing something? How do you get the free app to realize it should be PRO now.

Travis, You could try this… Please note that this Community deals mainly with the technical queries regarding AVG Windows products. AVG Android support is provided through email only. Please click on the following link (http://avgclick.me/AVGtechnical) and fill out your details, select as Android then the name of AVG Program that you installed in your mobile and in description please completely explain about your issue and finally click on Email option. Also when filling out your details choose Yes for the Question "Are you currently using any paid/trial AVG products?" and click on Email option. The AVG mobile team will reply back to you via email with a resolution.

I would love to do that, but it won't let me because it says direct support is for PRO only.
