HI,

Hi,
I think this is a design-fault with Anti-Track which makes it a pretty pointless bit of software!
I have alot of AVG packages and have been a subscriber for many years. I have just installed anti-track and paid for a two year subscription.
I have discovered that you can not select individual websites to by pass the tracking detection. Like what you can do with AVG protection etc. I have an FTP webite i use for work on a daily basis Anti-Track stops it from loading. AVGs answer to this problem, which they know about, is to turn off antitrack! what is the point of that.
My question is, does anybody know of a way to select websites and not browsers for exclusion from antitrack? Is this something that AVG are about to change?
Cheers guys.
Hello Phil,
We are sorry if you feel like that. We are glad to clarify it.
We have option to add websites in allowed list. So, AVG Anti-track will not block it. If you want to stop AVG AntiTrack clearing cookies from certain websites, add these websites to your Allowed websites:
- Open AVG AntiTrack and select the Allowed websites tile.
- Add a website to your list of Allowed websites using either method below:
- Select a website from the Choose from popular options drop-down menu.
- Enter a website URL (for example www.example.com) into the left text box, then click Add.
No problem, Phil. We're here to guide you.
We're glad to hear that your issue gets fixed.
Stay safe and healthy!!
