I am sorry to hear that you are unable to use Schedule scan in AVG Internet Security. I noticed that you are using 2016 version of AVG Internet Security in your PC. Hence we need to remove it and reinstall AVG Internet Security 2017 in your PC. Please follow below steps to do that:

I use a weekly scheduled scan on my laptop.Despite the AVG advanced settings option to select day/time,it is not doing the scan at the time I specify.I have tried altering the time and applying it,but it is still starting the scan at the same time.Any ideas about where to find the clock setting,apart from within the advanced settings page.
