I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. I would request you to try booting your PC into safe mode (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-reboot-your-computer-into-Safe-Mode), uninstall AVG, boot back in normal mode and then reinstall AVG program.
I logged on to my windows 10 desktop computer and found that the avg anti-viruas program I had installed had an update pending and required a restart. I allowed it to restart at the moment and the computer wouldn't boot with my information again. It took my to the windows boot menu and I cannot find a way to get my computer back to the way it was. I called Microsoft and they said that the update most likely deleted system requirements for the boot program. Please help!
