I downloaded the AVG Remover tool and removed AVG INTERNET SECURITY…as instructed I rteinstalled AVG INTERNET SECURITY…again the problem still remains…update error simply states: "A.bin file missing." this problem began this morning everything was functioning OK yesterday…the problem has something to do with downloading updates for Virus definitions…
Hello Dennis, I apologize for the inconvenience you experienced in this case. Please follow the below steps to update AVG offline.
1.Go to www.avg.com/update.
2.Select the update files you need (typically Virus definitions and All necessary modules for your operating system) and download them to a portable media, e.g. a USB flashdisk.
3.Open your AVG program.
4.In the menu Options, click Update from directory.
5.Navigate to the folder where you stored the update files, and click OK.

My Anti Virus will not update…I am told "A.bin file missing" Have deleted download file as directed in help and re tried but no luck. Any suggestions please
