AVG Anti-virus won't update, repair, or uninstall

I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. It could be possible that the latest updates have failed to install completely or the connection with the update server was interrupted. I would suggest you to uninstall the current version and re install AVG program to resolve the issue.

AVG Remover tool will detect only 2016 or earlier version of AVG program. Click on this link to download and run AVG Clear tool to remove traces of 2017 version completely.
Then click on this link to download and reinstall AVG using the same license number.

Hey all,

My AVG anti-virus won't update, and I can't repair it. I tried uninstalling it, but I couldn't do that either. Whenever I try to do any of those things, it keeps saying there is an "unknown error."

I attempted to run the AVG removal tool, but it's not detecting my AVG program.

What do I do?
