AVG AntiTrack slows computer

AVG AntiTrack slows my computer, and I can't disable it. I checked Task Manager, and I can see the AVG AntiTrack process is always using more than 25% of CPU. I've tried to end the task, but it just starts running again.

I checked under the Startup tab in Task Manager, but AVG AntiTrack isn't even listed there so I can't disable it. Is there another way to disable AVG AntiTrack? Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Please let us know the operating system installed on your computer & share us the screenshot of task manager that shows the CPU consumption by AVG AntiTrack, for better clarity. 
Also, let us know the version of AVG AntiTrack (Open AVG AntiTrack - Menu - Settings).
It isn't recommended to disable AVG AntiTrack. However, you can right click on AVG AntiTrack icon in system tray (near date & time, at bottom right corner) & quit.

OS: Windows 10
AVG AntiTrack version: 3.0.199.246

I've already quit AVG AntiTrack from the system tray, but AVG AntiTrack continues to run. Here is a picture of Task Manager showing the percentage of CPU usage.

The only action I have not taken is to uninstall AVG AntiTrack. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Hello Harry, 

We can really understand your concern. We request you to uncheck AVG anti-track from the Startup program list and check it.  Refer the steps below to uncheck AVG Anti-track :

Open AVG Anti-track - Click on Menu at the top right corner - Click on Settings - Uncheck the option to start AVG Anti-track during startup. 

After that, please restart the PC once and check whether it works. Thank you.

Thanks for the reply. I've already tried unchecking "Start AntiTrack when I start my computer", but it had no effect. Also, I tried quitting AntiTrack from the system tray, but it had no effect.

AntiTrack is always running on my computer, and it's consuming a larger percentage of CPU than any other programs.

I've tried every possible configuration, but AntiTrack still runs all the time. The only action I haven't done is to uninstall AntiTrack.

Any advice would be very much appreciated.
