AVG Antivirus blocking mail being sent from Outlook

Is there any update to this issue

it's 2021 and this issue is still happening. Is there an actual solution to the mail issue on Mac or is AVG ignoring it like the many growing unanswered questions on your forum. Also with 2021 and COVID forcing stay at home. I really hope that the response times are fast than 11 days. That is horrendous and AVG should be ashamed of that response time.

I have been using AVG Antivirus (Mac Version) for many years without any problems. However over the last few days I have had my emails being blocked when receiving (sening works fine) into Outlook 2011. The problem only goes away when the AGV Antivirus app is un-installed, as soon as I re-install, sent emails are blocked. Any ideas on how to resolve, if at all.

I would suggest you turn off the Web shield component and check if you are able to send emails from Outlook. If the issue persists, please share the screenshot [http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot] of your AVG version and MAC version.

Also, let me know the Email provider (e.g. Gmail, Hotmail) that you are using.
