"AVG Antivirus Clear Uninstall" option at every startup

When my computer starts up, I'm asked to choose between the Windows 10 operating system or "AVG Antivirus Clear Uninstall". I have followed these steps,

1. Press "Windows Key" and "R" to goto the Run command.
2. Please type "msconfig" and press "OK"
3. A Window will appear, please goto the "Boot" tab
4. Under the Boot Tab you will find your Operating System i.e Windows 8 and the AVG Anti virus Clear
5. Right Click on the AVG Anti Virus Clear and delete the file.

but when I get to the 5th step (right click and delete file) the delete option is not active, the delete button is there it just won't click.

What kind of an incompetent bullshit company are you that you
1. install your product silently with other software
2. you dont provie an uninstaller (!!!) - the user have to download it separately
3. you don't remove the fucking record from the boot menu

AVG is a shitty shady company. your software is proven to be a potential high risk for intruders (like most of the other AV softwares). I dont have the time and money, but i hope you get sued over the bullshit you are doing.

Hello Keshia,

Sorry for the delay in responding. Please make sure that the "Windows 10" option is "Set as default" and then try removing the other record. If that doesn't work then please provide the screenshot of the msconfig and MSInfo output.

Keshia, If applicable… For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Greetings,

I would like to inform that AVG will not install our programs without user consent.

AVG clear tool is used to remove the traces of AVG, so we provide it in a separate program.

To remove AVG clear from boot menu, follow the steps below.
- START button - type "msconfig" and press enter
- go to menu BOOT
- select AVG Clear to remove and click DELETE
