I installed AVG yesterday and started a complete scan.  After running for about 12 hours and having got to around 80% done (I believe) it crashed unexpectedly and generated a crash report.  Can I submit the crash report to AVG?

Is it normal for a scan of a MacBook Pro with a single 512G SSD to take this long?

John, For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

OK, it crashed due to uncaught exception 'NSInternalInconsistencyException', reason: 'Unhandled detection state!'.  
Karthikeyan: when dealing with a Mac-specific issue, it's best not to refer to instructions that only apply to MS Windows.
