AVG Antivirus for mac crashes

I have a 27in iMac running OS10.10.5 and AVG antivirus 17.4 (9cf9975e9ca8): with a 2nd monitor attached.

AVG crashes when scan 98% complete (after 1hr 20 mins).

The same issue occurred with AVG 17.2  which updated automatically today.

Is anyone able to help please?

Thank you for your patience. The issue with the AVG scan crashes on MAC device is a known bug. It will be fixed soon.

In this case, I request you to reinstall AVG Antivirus on your mac computer and run the AVG scan again. Hi

Uninstalled AVG; then downloaded & re-installed all OK.

Did a scan and it crashed again, 1 threat found.

MacOS:AMC-BF [PUP]  in Quaraantine
