Hello Mathew,

We understand your concern. Please provide us the log details with Wifi turned on and then with turned off. We will check the same and assist you further.

I have the same issues as everyone else. If you run the antivirus without having the wifi on it seems to work ok. It looks like the wifi is the problem

I have recently downloaded and installed the free version AVG AntiVirus for Mac having been pleased with how the Windows version worked with my previous devices.

I have tried three times to carry out a complete scan and it goes through the process reaching 99% before stopping and telling me that AVG AntiVirus quit unexpectedly and issuing a Problem Report (which I have copied and can supply if required).

I was intending to purchase the full version but do not want to do this until I know that the product will work correctly for me without crashing.

Version 17.2 (2ce7a4db3fac)

Why is my question marked as Solved with a green tick. You have not solved it at all.

Michael, Topics are never marked as Solved. The reason for the green tick is that you've actually chosen the best answer from the postings within your topic.

I have no recollection of doing that; in fact I don't know how it is done. Nevertheless, there definitely WAS a green icon with a tick next to the word Solved.
