I ran 'fix performance' on my laptop yesterday (31/08/15) and it identified a number of errors which I corrected by pressing the 'fix now' button. Unfortunately, I discovered when I logged on today that some files were missing. I've searched my laptop and they are no longer there - neither are they in the recycle bin. I've tried to recover them by running some recovery softaware (Recova) but without success. Does anyone know if there's a way of 'undoing' the fixes that AVG applied, or of recovering the missing files? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hello Kevin, sorry to know this. Have you installed AVG PC tune up program in your computer?
Hi,
Thanks for sending the link, but this appears to relate to AVG PC TuneUp, which I don't believe I have on my PC. I have AVG Antivirus FREE 2015 and when I open it the dashboard does not contain an option to Undo Changes. Nor does it appear to have a Rescue Center. Am I doing something wrong??
