I don't have block message from AVG. My problem was that mails need about 2 minutes to be received why I open my email client (Thunderbird). After several trials and supposition, it has been solved by unactivating AVG web agent.
The problem's origin was not my email access provider (Posteo) neither my email client (Thunderbird).
And now I would like to know how to reactivate AVG for my mails and exclude encrypted connections (SSL) , because this seems to me the cause of my problem.
Hello,
I have reinstalled AVG and the problem is still there. Other AVG programm recently installed : Anti Track. Do you have other ideas ?
Hello, for the past few weeks, I have noticed that my Posteo emails take a long time to load in Thunderbird. After several searches, we found that it is AVG that disrupts the connection with Posteo. I disabled the web agent and everything works normally.
According to Posteo, we should see if I can exclude encrypted connections (SSL) in
the settings of my anti-virus program (because AVG tries to break into the encrypted connection between your mail client and Posteo, and disrupts the connection for this reason).
Is it possible ?
THANKS
YES !!! It seems to work, I have disable 'scan for SSL connections' and mails are received much more quickly than before. Many thanks for your help
Hello,

Yes, it is possible to exclude SSL connections in the settings of AVG antivirus program. Here are the steps to do it:
Open AVG antivirus program and click on "Menu" in the top right corner.
Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
In the left panel, click on "Components".
Scroll down and find "Web Shield" and click on "Customize" next to it.
Under "SSL Scanning", toggle the switch to the off position.
Click "Save" to save the changes.
After disabling SSL scanning in AVG, try accessing your Posteo emails again in Thunderbird to see if the issue has been resolved.
Thank you for updating the status, Gaelle.
Glad to hear that you're receiving emails at a faster rate.
Feel free to contact us if you need any assistance from AVG.
We'd be happy to help you. Have a great day!

3. On the AVG screen, I click on the button above Agent email to desactivate it (pass from green to red status)
4. What do you mean by other component ? Agent web, pare-feu, alertes piratage ? You want me to desactivate them in the same way that I've done for Agent email, after having reactivating Agent email to check the problem ?
Thanks for your help !

Hello Gaelle,
We are sorry to know that repairing AVG program does not resolve the issue. Could you please try to reinstall AVG Anti-virus once and check the status? Also, please confirm do you have any other AVG program other than AVG Anti-virus free? Keep us updated.
Thanks for this idea.
I've repaired AVG, but the problem is still the same if I reactivate Agent email in AVG (about 2 minutes to receive mails when opening Thunderbird)
Hello Gaelle,
Thank you for providing us the info, Gaelle.
From your message, we see that Email shield is blocking the access to send/receive emails on your email client.
In this regard, we'd suggest you to follow the steps in this article to check & ensure that the port settings are configured correctly in AVG/Thunderbird.
If they're already configured, please disable 'Scan for SSL connections' under Email shield in geek area.
