Download and run the AVG remover tool from the link: https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe if the tool doesn't work, you can run the other tool: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe that removes the traces.
Once the PC is restarted after running the tools, please download the AVG Antivirus free from the link: http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/Antivirus_Free_1817.exe
