AVG Antivirus Free on Windows 7 Safe Mode

We regret the inform you that AVG cannot be accessed in the Windows Safe mode. Only basic/essential services can be accessed in the Windows Safe mode.

I've installed AVG antivirus FREE on an older Win 7 machine. Would like
to run it in "Safe Mode with networking"

Is this possible and if so how do I start it up?
