You have to use both AVG Clear and Remover tool to uninstall AVG with its traces. Refer the following article: https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Uninstall-AVG-software to run these tools.
Then reinstall AVG Antivirus Free as suggested here: https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-AntiVirus-Free
I have put a password in AVG Antivirus FREE, Version 19.5.3093, I can
remember that password with no doubt, so the password is correct but AVG
says my password is not correct when I open AVG on my computer (with
Windows) and put the password in there. So I am not in control of it, I can't
take action on it. I have set up AVG REMOVER and it didn't work, but it is still
on my computer as well as AVG Antivirus is. I need to modify/remove those at
this point. Please, what do I have to do? Thank you in advance
