My communication with AVG regarding crashes during a SCAN. SScroll down to my original Email and the response(s).
Help!
Thank you for your rapid response. But…are we working to eliminate, or at least reduce the tendency to crash. Today, before I reached the 59% point, I experienced 2 crashes.
If you think there is something users can look for in their own systems, please let me know.
By the way, I use a late 2009 Intel iMac running on OS X El Capitan, version 10.11.2 and scan with AVG AntiVirus version 4816.
I also use AVG Cleaner 4764 and LinkScanner 12.0 and wish to thank you for these great products.
Best,
Albert

Original question:
My Scan crashed after 59%. Is there a way to restart at that point instead of at the beginning...again?

Albert,
We do understand your concern. We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
We don't have the option to restart the point from the crashed point.
You can start the scan from starting.
Please feel free to contact us.
Thank you for choosing AVG.
