I to have been having this troube since the last update and have been trying to figure out what was wrong.I discoverd when i look in the scan report located on the C drive it said it couldn't acces a pdf file to do with One drive ( whitch i dont use ). I added a exception for this file and the red exclimation mark is now gone. I hope this might helps anyone with the same problem.
Hi Andrew,
Thank you for sharing your work around.
Could you mention whether it is appearing only for One Drive files?

Thank you for hte information, Andrew.
The reason is because, the files stored on a cloud server, could not be scanned by AVG.
Appreciate your efforts in sharing us the screenshots, William.
In the latest version, our devlopers has designed the progam in such a way to notify the users when a file is unavailable for scan. The ghost icon beside the scan doesn't required to be necessarily a threat. If a file (broken file) is unavailable for scan, then the ghost icon would be displayed.
Thank you for your understanding in advance!

I've been using AVG Antivirus free for a long time but after a recent update, the Scan History has been showing these little "ghost" icons next to each scan result with a red exclamation mark next to it. When I click on the down arrow to see the results for each scan, it always says 0 infected files. I'm wondering if the scan results are correct and if so, why is the "ghost" with the exclamation mark even necessary? Thanks so much in advance.
