Open AVG Antivirus Free -> Menu -> About -> check its version.
Please share the screenshot of error message you receive when AVG Web Shield is turned on.
For the last couple of weeks (I believe after the latest update) AVG Antivirus Free's Web Protection jams my internet connection, to the point that it basically gets stuck. The only way to get back my internet connection to full functionality, is to disable AVG's Web Protection. As soon as I reanable the web protection, issues arise again.
Anyone else experiencing the same issue? Goes without saying that I'll be forced to change my antivirus software if this problem cannot be solved (I'm using Windows 10).

thanks for your swift answer. My software version is: 19.5.3093 (build 19.5.4444.503).
I don't receive a particular error message when Web Shield is turned on. The internet connection alternates several states like working fine, working extremely slowly and not working at all.
