I download the .dmg file and it opens just fine. However, when I double click to begin install, the Verifying "Install AVG AntiVirus" window pops up and never goes away…it never verifies and it never installs. What is going on?

Thank you for the screenshot. Please check if you have set the installation to allow from third party source in your Mac computer and try the installation using this link http://download.avg.com/filedir/inst/avg_avc_mac_all_2015_4816.dmg
