Hi,

unfortunately glimmerblocker seems to interfere with the update process in AVG AntiVirus for Mac. Whenever I disable it updates work just fine. I tried to whitelist the usual suspects including update-mac-av.avg.com but with not effect. Wiresharking shows that the update process is using some sort of binary protocol it tries to send to akamai servers directly. I also found traces of the update-process using an IP address instead of a URL in order to access stuff which makes it impossible to whiltelist.

Is there a way to disable the use of a proxy for this product that I am not aware of? Otherwise has someone found a way to make it work with Glimmerblocker?

Regards,
