Hi Ron,
We're glad to look into this & help you.
From your description, it seems that there are few traces of Norton on your Mac.
It might conflict with AVG or corrupt AVG files. In this regard, we'd suggest you to remove those files manually.
If required, you can reach Norton support to locate the files & remove them completely.
Once they are removed, you'll be able to install AVG on your MAC. Thank you for your understanding in advance!
We're so glad to hear that, Ron.
Appreciate you sharing the information here. It might help other users.
I'm getting the following error when I try to install AVG Antivirus:
"Norton Internet Security security software is already installed on your machine. AVG AntiVirus cannot be installed as it may not be compatible with your Norton Internet Security security software."
I cannot find Norton Internet Security at all. I might have had it a while back, but it was uninstalled. AVG was working on my computer, until I updated it to 10.15.5. Then it stopped. So, I tried to reinstall and the error above is what I got. Any help will be gratefully appreciated. Thanks in advance.
