I installed AVG Antivirus mobile on my nook about 5-6 months ago. I got it from the Play Store. It has worked fine until last week. It stopped responding. When I boot up my Nook, I get the message ""Unable to Install". If I tap on the AVG Icon, I get a message that says "Unfortunately Shop has stopped". AVG itself does not respond at all. When I try to uninstall I can get no uninstall option. When I look at the application in the play store, it doesn't show the little check mark that indicates it is an installed app. It does not show up in the list of "my applications" in the nook. It seems to be a ghost program. I think AVG is related to all of the error messages I get, as it seems to be the only application on my nook that does not run properly, all others seem fine. Nook support thinks that I may need to unregister my NOOK, then register it again, but they suggested I contact the developer first to see if they can come up with a fix for this problem.
