I own a Kindle fire HDX 4th gen. And use silk as my browser. I have been playing SIMCITY BUILD IT for over a year. I got the app through Amazon.com. I also have AVG Antivirus Pro installed in early October 2016. I ran the antivirus with no trouble, till tonight. The antivirus found a Malware threat related to SIMCITY BUILDIT. The game was Not recently updated, but has been being played daily for over a year.
The error states:
MALWARE DETECTED
"SIMCITY is classified as 'Potentially unwanted program.'
Uninstall this app for your safety.
[Android G2P.GJ.CF181CB29A57]"
UNINSTALL. IGNORE
I have played this game a long time and do not want to uninstall it. I would like to know what MALWARE it is talking about. If I can get any information to help me I will happily forward this info to Amazon as well.
