AVG AntiVirus will not open in Windows 10

I have AVG Internet Security - Unlimited  loaded and running on Windows 10 on my PC.
PC Tune Up , Secure VPN , Password Protection all 'open' OK by clicking on the relevant process in the 'Start' Menu. However, after trying several options, I cannot open AVG AntiVirus by any method at all.
Clicking on this in the start menu or clicking on the other option, 'Run as Administrator' simply results in no response at all from my PC.
Any suggestions before I take further action and uninstall/re-install the program.?
