Greetings from AVG.
We'd be glad to help you.
Unfortunately, we cannot reset or recover this password but we can remove it. Please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Please restart the computer in Safe mode

Step 2: The file is located at C:\Program Data\AVG\Antivirus\aswResp.dat

Remove this file and reboot your PC. You should be able to access the password protected areas of AVG now.

i created a password and know i cant enter the avg application because i forgot it i need a way to recover that password please i need an answer quickly.

i tried the steps correctly and i found the file i tried to delete it but i can't beacase it says the file can't be deleted beacase it is open in AVG antivirus close the file and try again it says please i need a solution qiuickly.
