Upon checking your account, we see that you do have an active subscription valid till 2019.10.15.
From your description, it seems that either the program awaits update or the downloaded patches are unable to get applied to your program.
Please let us know the version of AVG installed on your computer & whether the update completes successfully.
To check the version : Open AVG - Menu - About. Meanwhile, please restart your computer once & check.
My dashboard says in RED that AVG is out of date - invoke Update and it says that my application is out of date June 2019 and starts to check for updates but it just loops and does not do anything more - I have at least a month left on my subscription - any suggestions? Virus checker is up to date

We could see that you have an older version of AVG program.
Please update the AVG program and restart the computer
