Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
If you have AVG as your homepage then our AVG Secure Search add-on would have got installed.
To uninstall AVG Secure Search, please follow the instructions mentioned in this link: http://avgread.me/1KLkDpN .
If this uninstallation doesn't help then please try using our AVG Remover tool and remove only AVG Secure Search.
1) To download AVG remover tool, please click on this link: http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
2) Run the downloaded file and follow the onscreen instructions.
3) Restart your PC when the restart option is displayed on the remover tool screen.
NOTE: Once you have logged into your PC after the restart, please go to C: drive and delete the "AVG REMOVER" folder manually.
To setup AOL as your homepage, please go to the settings of your browser. If you aren't sure how to setup the homepage, please provide the name of your browser so that we can provide the instructions for you.
I do not want AVG to be my home page. . . . I want AOL, which I have had for years.
