AVG automatically found a virus in a HP Health Check folder?!

Seems to me that somebody often says "AVG are always working 24/7."  Anyway, I would not empty the virus vault because this was quite possibly a false positive and your HPHC might not work without the quarantined file. Unfortunately my old HP computer running Vista does not have that specific file, so I cannot duplicate your issue. I would suggest treating the detection as a likely false positive by following this link: https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-report-a-false-incorrect-detection

about an hour ago i opened hp support assistant to check for any updates. i then closed it about 15 mins later, whilst browsing the internet, a sign from AVG popped up automatically and said there was a virus:

Threat: General behavourial detection

Object name: C:\Program Files (x86)\Hewlett-Packard\HP Health Check\Active Check\product_line\HPResignFileLoader.exe

Severity:Medium

State: Secured

It has deleted the virus, or sorted it out or whatever but im just wondering how i couldve had a virus in the HP folder, coincidentally after runninga  HP check 15 mins before the sign come up/ I have never downlaoded anything or gone on any dodgy websites either.

thanks
