well see here's the issue i have with this statement in particular. i used to run AVG all the time, i switched over to Avast because of a friend's referal. i never had a problem with AVG or Avast back several years ago, updating games, installing games, And only up until recently did i have trouble with AVG. Yes, i can disable AVG, but doesnt that leave my computer open for the SEVERAL HOURS that some games take to install? Even adding them to exceptions lists, thats a hassle. AVG shouldnt flag and detain .DLL files, they're system files. Executables, ok, i can understand that. But .DLL's?
I've tried to install a couple of games lately, and AVG would flag and detain files, and then the games were inoperable because files were missing. Today i tried to update Tera and it flagged cache files, claiming that this Win32/DH{OTYT?} was infecting the Tera Launcher executable file. Flagging .DLL files and Launcher executables for games is rediculous. I shouldn't have to turn off my AVG every time i want to update a game or even install one!
"However, if it is a trusted application we can disable the AVG program by following the instructions in this link:"
But i will work on supplying the samples shortly.

Yes, you are right, Richie, that is the reason we asked you to submit the sample to us so that we can analyze and add it to our virus definitions in future so that AVG won't flag it as a threat.
While installing the game you need not disable the AVG program. Only when you try to run the game it would detect the file as threat. So after installing disable the AVG program and adding to the exception is very simple, as you just need to copy paste the entire path of the game files where you have installed.
Please feel free to contact us should you need any assistance.
Thank you.
