We will check with it. Do you have any third party security products installed on your device? Let us know the version of AVG you have installed.
Open AVG Internet Security -> Menu -> About -> check its version.
Thank you for your help. I cleared AVG off my computer completely and re-installed it plus Tune-Up and all is working fine now. The message has not appeared again. Once again, many thanks for your help.
I keep getting a message stating a program wants to close my AVG. The message is timing down in seconds waiting for me to either respond 'yes' to closing down or 'no'. Even when I respond 'no', when I go to my AVG it is often showing in red stating I'm not protected and giving me the option to fix the problem. I press the fix button all goes green again and I am protected but then the message stating a program wants to close my AVG again happens. Can you help by letting me know what might be causing this and how I can permanently stop it.

I have AVG version 19.2.3079 (build 19.2.4186.405) The only third party security products I can think of would be from Windows 7 which is what my operating system is. I did try to update my operating System to Windows 10 recently with a stick I purchased direct but this failed, so I had to go back to the last version of Windows 7 on my system.
