AVG billing scam or not?

I cancelled my subscription before a renewal, but found out I was autobilled for a new year. So naturally I've asked for a refund and turned off auto billing. How long does it usually take for a refund? I've been asking for refunds since probably 6-7th Oct and so far nothing. Pretty disappointed cause RM129 is HUGE and I REALLY need that cash ASAP. If I have to wait any longer, it'll be over the 30 day policy.
