Do you receive a threat detection pop up from AVG when trying to access Dropbox? If yes, please provide a screenshot (http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot) of it with 'See details' clicked to assist you further. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

It seems like a false positive, we can certainly take a look into this.
Please try to access www.dropbox.com in a different browser.
May I know the AVG program (AVG Antivirus free/AVG Internet Security) you're using for your computer protection?
