Hi and thanks for your email.
No, I don’t have a VPN installed
I have checked all those settings and they are set to private and services all enabled
The simple fact of the matter is – if AVG is running – I cannot project
Can you suggest anything else?
Thanks
Pete
If I have AVG running - even when setting network to private and all services enabled - I cannot project
If I didable AVG - I can project
I need a solution please
Thanks Pete
Hi Pete,
Thank you for trying to resolve the issue and we'll certainly help you further.
Please check if you have installed VPN services installed on your PC. If found, I suggest you to disable it and check if you're able to screen mirror. As VPN service will change your IP address and make your network anonymous. So you need to disable it to enable screen mirroring.
If the issue persists after disabling VPN, I suggest you to refer the below link and enable the options to enable the options and check the same.

I just updated my laptop to windows 11 and am having the same problems all over again… can you please send instructions as to how I can get my Chromecast or project to my tv to work again!!
Please send me a fix as well. Why not make it public. I have the same problem! I'm not renewing because of this!
