Hello. This week I have purchased AVG's full protection. However it has stopped me using the cleanmymac application. When I attempt to launch it I am told "You do not have permission to open the application "cleanmymac x".
Any ideas how I can rectify this problem please?

AVG Antivirus/Internet Security has been detecting the "Cleanmymac X" application as a 'Deceptor' which was determined by AppEsteem, which is a third party reputable CyberSecurity authority. The following AppEsteem FAQ, (https://is.gd/8oc4JM), clarifies the deceptor classification.
However, if you still wish to use the "Cleanmymac X" application, we'll certainly help you with that.
Beyond disabling scanning of PUPs for File Shield, the only other potential work-around solution, is to set an exception for the file shield.
If the issue still persists after adding the file to the exception list, please write back to us.
