Hello Mike,
We will help you in fixing the issue.
It looks like you have added the executable file in the blocked list of AVG. To unblock it, open AVG Internet Security > Menu > Settings > Full protection > Ransomware protection > Blocked/Allowed apps > Remove it from there.
Please monitor the status and keep us informed here.
I recently received a message from AVG Internet Security while attempting to open a .jpg file with MS Digital Image Pro. The message said that pi.exe was attempting to open and modify a file and asked me if I wanted to block it or allow it. Not recognizing pi.exe and thinking it must be a virus threat I answered block. I am now unable to save any file, modified or otherwise from within MS Digital Image Pro. I've just learned that pi.exe is the main MS Digital Image Pro executable file. The failure message is "Cannot save. Access is denied to the file (file name)." How do I correct this error?
You are most welcome, Mike.
Glad to hear that everything is fine now, we appreciate your efforts.
Thank you for letting us know its status.
Have a great day!
Followed the steps you suggested and corrected the problem. Thanks, very much.
