Hello Andrew, 

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. This is a known issue. We have already reported it to developers they are working on the fix. 

Could you please restart the PC twice and check whether you can open and access the AVG Internet Security program?

the internet is being blocked by AVG but when disabled the internet works fine which means that it is a issue with AVG

I have done the troubleshooting for the past 8 hours and have got no where the only thing I can think is that the latest virus detentions pushed out by AVG somehow caused this issue
