Hello Bill,

Please update us the status to assist further.
For about w week now AVG has been blocking a large number of web pages that I visit. It says they are infected wit the "JS:Miner-AI[PUP]. They are pages that I have been to before and sometimes it will block a page and sometimes not. It is getting very frustrating. Is there a way to get it to stop without turning off AVG? I know that blocking threats is its job but this is not right.
It doesn't seem to be letting me attach a screen shot. I click on attach a picture and my only option is a URL.

Thank you for the screenshot.
This should be a false alarm as it detects AVG update as a threat.
Let us check the version of AVG and proceed further on this matter.
Open AVG Internet Security interface.
Click on "Menu–>About" to know about the version and mention the details here.
Could you confirm whether this threat appears only while browsing?
Try accessing websites from another browser and check whether the threat appears.
So far it seems when I turn off web shield I stoppped getting the popups. Leaving it off permanently is not the answer though.
I will include a screen shot but everytime I insert it it covers up what I have written and I cant seem to move it. I will put it in the next message by itself.
Sorry, we have sent the email now.
Thanks.
Thank you for the detailed information.
It is necessary for us to analyze the root cause and request you to get connected with our additional support.
An email instruction has been sent on how to proceed with that.
If the email is not found in inbox do check in spam and junk folders.
I do not see an email and I checked my inbox as well as my junk folder. Nothing.
I did the update on AVG this morning when it called for it..
If I am not always browsing as in changing pages. If I let it sit with the browser open for a while I will come back and there are several threat windows there that I need to close.
Thats also why I included that particular screen shot.
