AVG Blocking my gmail access

I have recently moved to Office 365 and AVG is preventing me from downloading mail from my gmail account when I first log into Outlook.
I can deactivate AVG and download e-mail, and then reactivate AVG and everything works as it should until I log out of Outlook and then log in again.

We will look into it. It might not get synced properly. Open AVG Internet Security -> Menu -> Settings -> Components -> AntiSpam -> click on uninstall and reinstall it again to check with the issue.

I have tried that, but it still doesn't work.
Interestingly, my copy of Outlook 2007 is still functioning perfectly.
