Sent to email - If I turn off web shield it stops doing it and frankly everything is faster. I did this earlier and haven't had any further issues but I have no active web shield so not a lot of point in it being there. I have turned it back on and I will see how long it takes to start again. At that point I will send you a screenshot.
Thanks
Sent later - Well it took about 15 mins to fail again trying to go the BBC
Screenshot is below
Well I have been on holiday and returned to find that the same problem as above message trail is still there. I am still being randomly blocked from sites ie BBC or youtube plus many more. There is no sense to this it will be fine for a spell and the suddenly the box as above pops up saying the certificate is expired. I have tried running repair from control panel install/ uninstall and no change. I have to disable AVG to proceed.
Let's work together to fix it, Rod.
Are you able to access those sites when AVG is disabled? Right click on AVG icon under system tray next to clock, click on toggle bar to turn off your protection.
Could you share the screenshot http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Create-screenshot of that error message you received to check and assist you further?
I am sick of getting blocked internet with AVG telling me that the site I am accessing has an out of date certificate. This has just recently started and it is frequently blocking the BBC site, Google and even Microsoft plus everything else sometimes. It is impossible to surf the net without constant interruptions to service. This must be from a recent update. My renewal is due soon and this is making the decision easy on whether or not to stay with you guys. Fix please?

I have uninstalled AVG completely and re-installed. Seems to be working better this time so I'll hold off on remote connect for now and see how it progresses over the next couple of days.
