It appears thar after a Windows 11 update today (08/22/2022) AVG is blocking Outlook from sending/receiving email. If I turn off AVG Email protection I can send receive as normal. (pop and smtp. imap to gmail still seemd to have an issue) When I turn it back on I can't. Is this a known issue? I've checked email using a different app/machine and it can send receive without error.

acutally now, I've restarted the computer again and my Windows account is back. turned AVG email sheild on and still can't receive email

This is actually only related to receiving emails. Sending appears to be working looking at the Outlook error log. Sending completes successfully on all accounts, but it can't receive emails on any of them unless AVG email shield is disabled.
OK, I opened the first link in Chrome. The server ports were configured correctly (pop secure 995)
I tried this, but I an still not able to receive email while the AVG email shield is active.
This is the error:

If I disable the email shield I am able to receive pop mail. imap on gmail through outlook gives this error:

It was working yesterday morning before a Windows update. AVG may have been updated at the same timee. I'm not 100% on that. This machine has Windows 10 not Windows 11 as previously stated.

yeah, that was weird. I've never encountered the disappearing/re-appearing Windows Account. Thanks for sending the link. I'll get with them to help resolve the issue.
