AVG blocking Outlook 365 incoming mail

I seem to be having an issue with AVG blocking incoming email from Outlook 365. I am getting this error when I check mail:

Task 'me@xxxxxxxxxx.com - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0D) : 'Cannot find the email server. Verify the server information in your account properties.'
==============================
If I turn off AVG I am able to receive email. I am also able to retrieve email on my phone and a different computer not using outlook, so the server info is correct and it appears to be related to AVG and Outlook specifically.

Is there another way around this issue other than turning off AVG altogether?

This appears to have resolved itself. Not sure exactly what the issue was. There was a time period of about 4-6 hours where this was a problem, but it is working now.
