AVG has gotten progressively worse at blocking email into Eudora. I have been clicking the 22 or so times to get a new SSL certificate several times per week . I have used Eudora even before it became an orphan in 1996 and do not plan to change using it. Today I have to disable AVG email checking then do the 22 clicks for SSL certificate to get my email. I tried resetting AVG but nothing helped. I need Eudora friendly email protection. Help will be greatly appreciated. Using Windows 10.

Thank you Lathika. I got nevous turning off AVG email checking to install a SSL certificate… I went into Eudora checking receiving mail setting and switched the SSL setting from "When available" to "Never" and it seems to be working now. So I am now  relying on AVG and wondering what kind of risks I have without SSL certificates. I'll get with your help team when I have time. Thanks.

I had a similar problem using Eudora 7.1 this morning. As soon as the new AVG Free update was installed, I was unable to use the Eudora SSL certificate information manager to install an updated server certificate generated by AVG Free, and was unable to retrieve email. I uninstalled AVG Free until I have more time to work on this, or until you have a fix. Apparently, the new AVG Free locks the user accepted server certificate function, and Eudora won't even open that category to install the new certificate. I'm also using Windows 10.
