Please try changing the system rules in AVG Firewall and check with the phone.

If the issue persists, enable "Internet Connection Sharing mode" in Firewall settings screen and check with the phone connection again.

The AVG firewall is blocking my laptop syncing with phone for diary and contact updates.
I've put it as an allowed app but not working
Any idea what to do next?
