AVG blocking the safe mode

Yes, I've attempted to tap Esc and Spacebar and it didn't help.

I changed the name of avgArDisk.sys, and then during the start of the safe mode another avg driver caused the error avgbidsh.sys, so I renamed it too, still didn't help. Later I changed avgbuniv.sys, BMLoad.sys and now it is classpnp.sys that is causing the trouble, but I don't want to change that driver.

I did it all back again, so I am at the start point. But I have another idea, which is:

In order to fix my the very first problem with Login Service I need to make some changes in the Registry REGEDIT. There are many tutorials such as:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rT4ESA2Unng

I've read that it is possible to make such changes in the registry using the command line f.e. Zmienianie wartości rejestru lub uprawnień - Windows Client | Microsoft Learn

so I would like to ask you to help me write all those steps in the registry using the command line.

I hope I can count on you

Kind regards

I think, it is nearly impossible to believe that after one and half year after first report AVG is still causing the same issue! Guys, wake up! Two days ago my AVG was updated and then Windows crashed 5 minutes later! Exactly the same thing so many people reported here - in Safe Mode system hangs trying load file avgardisk.sys!

i spent last time reading advices in web how go get the Windows working again, but I'm not an IT technician, I don't understand most of this mumbo-jumbo.

Can someone instruct me in simple words how to repair my PC without reinstalling of OS, please?

Hello,

today I couldn't log in to my Windows profile as it showed that system can't load my profile. I tried to enter to safe mode, but it appeared that AVG service was blocking it. All services were loading but when it came to avgardisk.sys the system froze and would no longer work. Right now I can't use my computer because of your service.
I hope to hear from you soon, as it is my belief that you feel responsible for the damage caused by your product.

Kind regards

Problem with avgArDisk.sys reported 10th June 2019 (http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/help-computer-wont-finish-booting-up/a1f80ef4-6203-4f75-bab0-b111744810da)

Thank you for the replying, Oskar.
We have escalated this case to our senior team. We will update you, once we receive further information from our senior team.
We appreciate your patience.

I tried that but there is no difference, it still stops when it tries to load the driver: avgardisk.sys.

Nevertheless I found out that I can access the command line by choosing the option "Repair your computer", I can then go to the folder "Drivers". Can I try to delete the file avgardisk.sys (\Windows\system32\drivers\avgardisk.sys) via command line? Is it likely to help or rather make things even worse?

Appreciate your efforts in sharing us the screenshot, Oskar. This isn't the usual behavior of AVG product. Let us work towards fixing the issue.
Would you be so kind to try tapping on Esc or Spacebar while attempting to boot the computer in safe mode?
Reason being, tapping Esc or Spacebar might help us to bypass the scan that runs at startup.

Problem with avgArDisk.sys reported 19th February 2019 (http://www.cnet.com/forums/discussions/is-my-hard-drive-dead-do-i-need-to-replace-it/)

Oskar have they got back to you?

Btw this problem has been repeatedly reported to AVG. The always start with the lie that it is unusual. They try to give the impression that they want to help. They will send apologies, ask for more screen shots, ask you to do things you have done or explained do not work. With you I do not think they will dare keep repeating how to click reply to an email, they reserve that for femaies who obviously could not know how to reply to an email!

The AVG virus file has disabled me from being able to have access to my laptop for over a month and a half.

AVG write virus code, AVG upload the virus code onto our computers/laptops via an update.

AVG lie about not knowing about the virus problem they created.

AVG do everything but fix/patch/issue a corrected update.

WELCOME TO THE AVG avgArDisk.sys VIRUS FILE CLUB

I would still ask you to consider changing registry settings, as I see on the internet that it is the most popular and proven to be succesful way to resolve problems with Windows Login Profile problems.

Thank you for the confirmation, Oskar.
It is nor recommended to change registry settings now.
Please confirm, if you have renewmed the avgardisk.sys file via the command line. Also, let us know if you have tried booting the computer in safe mode with networking to assist further.
