AVG blocks powershell.exe ( I run commands through POWERCLI)

Hi, Chen.
We'd be glad to assist you. Do you receive any error or threat detection pop up from AVG? If yes, please share a screenshot (http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot) of it. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Hello All,
I'm a System administrator and i run schedule tasks to my virtual machines with POWERCLI scripts.
however while i run the scripts on a machine that is using AVG antivirus it get's removed.
I've tried to exclude powershell folder / exe file in the behavior shield but it still get's blocked and not letting my script run.
Do you have any ideas?

Thanks.

Chen, thank you for providing the screenshot.

This is a false detection by AVG. Please add the .exe file to AVG exceptions list as described in this link. Please also make sure that your AVG program is up to date with latest virus definitions.

Hello,
User-added image

I have the latest version and latest update defenition

while using avast! its not getting blocked ( I also had to add expection for the powershell file/dir - and that works. )

I will also send that in the form you've posted but its not a false postive just that the exclusion does not works.
